Social  Justice

Base Salaries Start at $55,000

The Green Buffalo Confidential is the name of our hemp oriented media company, and we are currently seeking seven associates with an entrepreneurial ethic.

The Media Company will be accepting applications starting March 2020; you must submit a job analysis for the position you seek, plus an applicable portfolio of your work for our review, as well a self-interview video link that demonstrates your passion for social justice, plus a little snippet of how you do the work you do - and remember, staying calm is the most effective form of communication.

We will be producing a 32 page quartlery news-magazine, as well as a weekly video journal (similar to Vice News), that will have three main segments:  'headline news', 'get stylin with hemp', and 'get a life motivational'.

The Green Buffalo Confidential will retain high profile investigative journalists for our monthly news-rag, commission articles from local activists, as well as retain celebrity hosts for our weekly video news-journals (hiring comedians to write and record four 'get a life segments').

Warehouse Processing Positions start August 2020: We are also looking to hire honorably discharged Veterans at our Processing Warehouse to fulfill two shift manager positions, and 8 batch processing positions.

The shift manager is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Bosch Encapsulation machine, the Romaco Air Sealer, and the Food Canning machinery...

And the co-workers are responsible for processing the hemp botanical flower into five of our patent pending hemp product lines by using 80 gallon steam kettles, large pressure cookers, to create dietary food supplements.

There are three shifts per day (9am to 5pm, 5pm to 1 am, and 1am to 9am), thus 4 batch processors and 1 shift mgr. - for each of the three shifts.

How to Write a Job Analysis

The goal of a job analysis is to learn what’s important for success in a specific job – what kind of knowledge, skills, abilities, traits, behaviors, etc. are important for success in the various roles the job require. Once you have identified the competencies, or the tasks important to successfully perform the job, we can determine how best to measure those.

So begin by understanding the requirements of the job being filled. What kind of personality, experience and education are needed? To determine these attributes, sit down and do a job analysis covering the following areas:

  • The mental/physical tasks involved (ranging from judging, planning and managing to cleaning, lifting and welding)

  • How the job will be done (the methods and equipment to be used)

  • The reason the job exists (including an explanation of job goals and how they relate to other positions in the company)

  • The qualifications needed (training, knowledge, skills and personality traits)

If you're having trouble, one good way to get information for a job analysis is to talk to employees and supervisors at other companies that have similar positions.  And remember, your job analysis must take into consideration the other six startup positions listed here.

There will be seven startup associates, plus the co-founder; and all of us will be responsible for answering phones, collecting advertising dollars, and marketing the brand.  And we will do so while helping with newspaper distribution and social media marketing.  Again, we are all brand ambassadors.

Our Three Phase Interview Process

Please submit your resume, the job analysis, your self-interview video link, and your applicable portfolio for our review...

And please be aware that we will be conducting interviews in three stages:

  1. Your first interview will be done through a Skype Video Conference.
  2. Your second interview will be done at the Co-working Offices in Eugene Oregon.
  3. Your third interview will be done during an Outdoor Hike near Culver Oregon.

Remember to be authentic, transparent, and vulnerable; while doing your best to stay calm and genuinely smile.  I promise that I will be honest and forthright with you, every step of the way.
